If you try to be an expert in everything, people will assume you don’t do any one thing well. Focus on what your business’ specialty is and go from there. If someone asks for a service that you don’t normally offer, don’t be afraid to say no.

2. Make a timeline that ends with your goal.

Figure out what your ultimate goal is and keep that front and center. Make smaller goals with time-sensitive deadlines so you can measure your success and stay on track. If you fall behind those deadlines, you may need to adjust the timeline. But always push yourself – don’t make your goals revolve around the business you are doing now but the business you want.
